More about Spirit
Guides.
I often have questions asked
of me in connection with spirit guides. Especially how to talk to
them and how to hear them.
One thing you have to know
is that spirit guides are not the miracle workers of the universe.
They are there to guide you
and sometimes it is through the most mundane issues in your life.
It is not that guides come forward with a loud voice and make some
great announcement of wonder. They are not about to solve all your
problems, or to give you the lotto numbers or find true love for
you.
Mostly I find that guides
are around us to help us make decisions that are a lot less than
fantastic. Although they are wonderful at pointing you to places
that will enable you to find strength and happiness
By listening to you will
guide, your inner voice, you will find direction.
I find that guides have the
most fun with us when they show us what way to go by co-incidence.
Well it is usually what we
call a co-incidence, it is when something happens that is related in
a way to what we are thinking about or related to the decisions that
we have to make. Guides on the other hand do not think it is a
co-incidence, they are just sending messages the best way that they
can.

For instance if you are
wondering if you could go to university and do a course, then you
turn the TV on and there is an advert for a university or the people
are talking about the type of study well your guide is showing you
direction.
But if you keep ignoring or
passing this type of information off as co-incidence I find that you
will be pointed into the right direction until you work it out.
Sadly sometimes I see that people are not aware of this type of
action around them and miss out constantly, and are always feeling
as though things are ‘going wrong’ for them.
Be aware of your
surroundings, it is so important for your spiritual path. So much
is given to us, but if we block it or are consumed by pettiness we
do not grow and we do not enjoy each day.
Guides are often quite
comical with the way that they show us direction; they do like to be
a bit mischievous, so it is fun to be alert and aware and listen.
We do not have to meditate
or become a yogi to talk to our guides, just talk – they can hear,
and then be alert to the answers as they will come in different
ways.
